US ARMY MODEL 1902 OFFICER DRESS SWORD & MEDAL
US Army Model 1902 Officer Dress Sword and Medal. Identified to Colonel Joseph V. Goldzung. Presented by the Officers & Mans of the 1st Squadron, 101st Cavalry on June 1971. Slightly curved, triple side acid etched blade with fuller. Maker marked “Colonial” & “Spain” on both sides of the ricasso. Leather buffer pad present. Nickel-Silver plated hilt with bakelite finger groove grip. Steel scabbard with engraved dedication. Chain hanger (Made in France). Attached to the hilt is a NY National Guard 10 Years Faithful Service medal, serial number “12440”. Blade Length: 26″ | Total Length: 32″
